I was just wondering, do you think all of these tools like dialogue boxes and global search bars are just lazy shortcuts, or do they serve some higher purpose that designers couldn't solve otherwise?
i know what you mean. sometimes i think the whole point of design is to make life so people don't have to work so hard, to get places, to use things, to get the point... which makes me wonder why I have to work so hard.:)
